Get cosy in Ashford and around! I love Christmas here as there are so many workshops to do, festivities to experience and foody places to explore. I've summed some up, from Ashford to Folkstone. Enjoy!

As the days become shorter and darker it’s good to get some fun things in the diary and there’s plenty of great events in the local area to choose from.

Summer has been and gone and we seem to have missed it! The good news is that it looks like the weather in September might be even sunnier and Hannah will suggest some of the places in and around Ashford where you could enjoy a picnic in the sunshine. Get packed!  

Since moving to Ashford from London in 2020, I’ve been exploring some of the lovely towns that are close by with my husband, Ben. Read about Tenterden, Canterbury, Wye, Faversham...and enjoy!

There’s a wealth of opportunities if you’d like to get creative in and around Ashford. Here’s some ideas that I hope will inspire you.

Although the weather doesn’t have a clue what it wants to do, daffodils, bluebells and tulips are starting to poke their heads out ready for Easter. As well as nature there’s lots to enjoy in and around Ashford at this time.

Christmas Day is over and the house is feeling stuffy. There’s a lull in energy as the last of the rich Christmas food has been scoffed and the hangover from all those Christmas Day cocktails has slowly dissipated. It’s time to leave the house and make some more happy memories in Ashford and the surrounding areas.

Ashford is full to the brim with ways to stay active. I bought a Map App which lets me view the footpaths, cycle routes and horse tracks which surround Ashford.
